Most of these are not usually in evidence, as Ratty prefers the "surgically clean" look for the whole place.

The Captain, when asked about why this was such a "vulnerable" ship, remarked, "It's a laboratory, not an intimidation piece. Arming it makes as much sense as putting a Wave Motion Gun on a taco truck."
