Gus is a Lolho Hotar hails from the Toptweeha colony of Gamma Auriga C, and is an actual Prince, although second in line to his colony's throne. He always wears the head-dress, black gloves, and long-toed black boots which are signs of his rank. He suffers a good deal from his species' version of “Younger Brother-dom;” always trying to please, always afraid he isn't doing so, and extremely hyperactive and wanting to prove that should anything happen to the Crown Prince, no one will contest his competence to take said prince's place.

When dealing with objects, however, Gus' personality changes drastically. He takes no guff from a faulty Talky Toaster; the warp drive does not dare suffer a glitch on his watch. He has even been known to castigate an X-Acto knife blade for not being sharp enough.
